Frequently Asked Questions
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
Don’t worry — most of my clients have never done a boudoir session before! You’ll receive a full Styling + Prep Guide with outfit inspiration, hair and makeup tips, and a prep-day schedule. During your session, I’ll guide you through posing, expression, and all the little details — you just show up, breathe, and trust the process. 🤍
Where do sessions take place?
Most sessions take place in my cozy, light-filled studio — a private space designed to help you feel relaxed, confident, and completely at ease. ✨
If you prefer a different vibe, I also offer on-location options throughout Charleston, the Lowcountry, and Savannah. Whether that’s a boutique hotel, a charming Airbnb, or your own home, we’ll choose a setting that reflects your style and story.
Each space is selected for its comfort, privacy, and beautiful natural light — so wherever we shoot, the focus stays on you. 🌿
Do you travel for sessions?
Yes ✈️ ! While most sessions take place in the studio, I love exploring new spaces and settings that feel personal to you. ✨
I’m available for travel within the Charleston and Lowcountry area, and beyond upon request. Travel fees may apply depending on location, but I’ll always confirm those details before booking so there are no surprises.
Think dreamy beach cottages, boutique hotels, or an intimate space that feels like you — the possibilities are endless. 🌿
Do I need to bring my own outfits?
I do ask that clients bring at least three outfits they absolutely love — pieces that make you feel confident and beautiful. My client closet (sizes XS–5XL) is available to mix and match from, but bringing your own ensures everything fits you perfectly. During your session, I’ll help you choose what photographs best, and your Prep Guide includes styling tips and links for extra inspiration.
Is Hair & Makeup included?
When it comes to hair and makeup, the choice is completely yours! ✨ I ask that you arrive with your hair and makeup already done — whether that means a natural glow, soft waves, or a full glam look. This way, we can spend more time in front of the camera creating stunning images instead of getting ready.
At E.B.B., I believe in self-expression and individuality — there’s no right or wrong way to show up. Come exactly as you envision yourself, feeling confident and comfortable, and I’ll take care of capturing your radiance beautifully.
Photographer Tip: I do recommend a softly curled style — it photographs beautifully and adds effortless flow and movement to your images. 💫
When will I see my photos?
Your private viewing gallery will be ready within 2–3 weeks after your session. You’ll be able to preview your images, select your favorites, and choose your artwork or print collection right from there.
Each photo is hand-edited with care to preserve your natural beauty and that signature E.B.B. glow. ✨
how far in advance should I book?
If you’re a bride hoping to surprise your soon-to-be honey with a special gift, I recommend scheduling your session 6–8 weeks before your wedding or the date you’ll need your products by. For all other sessions, booking 4–6 weeks in advance.
After your session, you’ll receive your gallery within 2–3 weeks, and together we’ll design your album or artwork selections. Once your order is placed, products typically take up to 3 weeks to be handcrafted and delivered.
Booking early helps everything flow smoothly — giving you time to relax, fall in love with your images, and receive your products right on schedule. ✨
What kind of products do you offer?
Your images deserve more than a screen — they’re meant to be seen, touched, and celebrated. ✨ After your session, you’ll have access to a curated collection of heirloom albums, luxury wall art, and fine art prints, each handcrafted to preserve your story beautifully.
